In the Next Stage AR project, we explore the creative and economic potential of mobile augmented reality (AR) technology for music venues and festivals in The Netherlands.

Together with the Dutch Association of Music Venues and Festivals we develop our own open-source AR tool with which any Dutch music venue can create customized AR experiences.

During Next Stage AR, different prototypes and scenarios are being tested in a series of live concerts at the Paradiso, Melkweg and Amsterdamse Bostheater.

In close collaboration with Superposition, Femke Vandenberg, Frank Kimenai, GET Protocol Foundation, The Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision and Effenaar.
